Alexander von Kirschbaum,

born in 1969, is qualified as a German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney and is admitted to the European Community Trademark Office (OHIM) in Alicante.

He studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University in Munich, Germany and he received his master's degree in engineering in 1995. From 1995 to 1996 he was a trainee at a patent firm in Munich and from 1996 to 1998 he was a trainee at the firm. He continued his education at the District Court of Duesseldorf, the German Patent Office (DPMA) and the German Federal Patent Court (BPATG). In 1999, he qualified as German and European Patent Attorney. He became partner of the firm in 2000.

His special interests are mechanical and electrical engineering, production engineering, automobile technology, photo-optical technology and protection of software by patents.
