Alek von Kreisler,born in 1936, is qualified as a German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney and is admitted to the European Community Trademark Office in Alicante (OHIM).
He studied chemistry at the Technical University of Aachen and Darmstadt and received a master's degree in chemistry for his work on steroids. From 1963 to 1968 he was a trainee at the patent law firm of the late Dr. Andreas von Kreisler. During that time he spent six months with major patent law firms in London and New York, respectively. He qualified as German Patent Attorney and joined the firm in 1968. He is member of the Chamber of German Patent Attorneys (Patentanwaltskammer), the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi), the Federal Association of German Patent Attorneys (Bundesverband Deutscher Patentanwälte e.V.), the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property Right and Copyright (GRUR), the International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (AIPPI), the International Federation of Industrial Property Attorneys (FICPI), the Union of European Practitioners in Industrial Property, and the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA). His special interests are all fields of chemistry, in particular, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, medical sciences, agricultural chemistry, chemical engineering and technology. |
